Can anyone help me find out the build sheet for our XKR?
Preferably a free site....
I'm guessing the VIN doesn't contain all the specs that the car left the factory with. There is more information somewhere?
The car was first registered in the UK briefly, then shipped to New Zealand with 50 miles on the clock in 2013.
Presumably something to do with being 'VAT qualifying' at the time.

Correct - the VIN does NOT give you the full specification.

The Jaguar TOPIx option to view and print full vehicle details (build sheet) was removed about a year ago. Although this was supposedly in compliance with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations), I understand if you buy TOPIx time, the details are then available which is an interesting logic.

A JLR Dealer can do a full printout for you. I also read a recent forum post from a member who had contacted Jaguar Customer Relationship Centre by email and received the full specification.

I just called my local dealer and they emailed me my build sheet. If anyone can translate it into lay-person's terms, I'd appreciate it. I am attaching it, along with a pic or two to give an idea of what I have.

And Graham is correct, the VIN will not show any options added during the purchase or ordering phase.

Between this build sheet from your local dealer, the VIN, your vehicle registration document and the brochure, you can work out the model and its specific selection of buyer choices and options.

This is the first page of mine as an example:





You now have the necessary data. It depends how determined you are to collate all the data and make it presentable.
