Does anyone have any experience with the adamesh XK x-pipe exhaust. Do you have to cut the exhaust? How does it sound with the 4.2L motor??

I dont but I had it done to my 5.0 R and they take out the resonator which makes the engine noise less throbby and more howly. IMO that would kill the gorgeous sound of the 4.2. The paramount back end on the 4.2 sounds epic (as in the best exhaust I've heard ever), though I dont know that it has any performance gains whereas I think the X pipe does.

So I cant answer your question but maybe it helps you with what to look out for.

 

Yes this will bolt straight up to the downpipes without any cutting
