Default Adaptive Headlight alarms

Many months ago I was having the same adaptive headlight alarms as many others here on the Jaguar forum, even had one unit replaced under warranty. I found two DIY remedies put forward by Forum members. One was to tap the headlight units in the back, and the other was to turn the steering wheel lock to lock four times. I did both and that little gremlin just disappeared!

I'd just like to thank the members who came up with these fixes. I've found a number of references to the tapping, but the steering lock to lock post totally eludes me. Anyway, thanks for being here folks. I really appreciate being able to do a few repairs with a little help from my friends.

Yes, they need reset each time they are unplugged or the car loses power.
