Default Alloy wheel repair kits

Such as these

I have a few scuffs on mine & was wondering if anyone had used them & could furnish their experiences and/or advice.

The only problem is the paint color. The kit works fine but you need to get the Jag paint color to make it match.

If hyper silver, it is a multi layer paint with different layers contributing.

Its going to be a bit difficult to get an exact match for that from a single paint.

You can still get a decent result with a patch job that will look fine from a distance; but for me personally I'd be sensitive and notice it.

I would also worry that the wheel may not be perfect round without testing it. Home repair may not give its balance back.

I would guess the paint is the same, and that kit adds a filler for repairing deep curb scrubs.

The link above to the post by ‘michaelodonnell123’ would seem to say so, as he has Carelia’s and said it matches.
I thought I ordered some, but danged if I can find it. I was going to keep it on hand, just in case I needed it.
