Default Anyone ever had their Variable Valve Timing Units Replaced???

Currently under way on my 12 XKR. Was wondering if ANYONE ever had this done before. The reason was a "Tick" in the engine that occurred when the car was warm and idling.... would go away after driving for a few minutes and stay away for a while but if you shut the car off and retarted it would immediately come back. Very loud and annoying. Just wondering others thoughts. 1 month and 4 days in the shop so far - They had to be directed by jaguar and take the engine out. Loth

Search the landrover forums as well. I have a cold tick at startup similar to this :

Just to qualify... I have not had a diagnosis done on my car yet. I have not heard it since my last oil change.
