Default Anyone had problems with blinking headlight?

Evrytime I start my 06xkr s/c Vic edtn my passenger side headlights blinks and eventually goes off. Took the car to my local jag dealer they said they replaced the xenon bulb but now it's doing it worse than ever. What's my next move?

Not sure what to tell you FOD3. My 2003 xkr was doing the exact same thing. I replaced the xenon's and it has worked perfectly ever since.
Did they replace one or both? If only one, was it the right one? Might check the connection to the bulb. Could be a defective bulb or, the next thing I would look at would be the ballast.
Not much help, I know, but maybe some food for thought?

Hey Friarshuck they only replaced the problem side and not for nothing it's worse now. Totally can't drive at night. Just don't want to get a ticket, as I live in new jersey ,they pull you for anything. Just don't need that to turn into something worse you know. I'm back to the dealer. In the morning

I had a problem with the headlights - different but the solution may help.
I was told that it was a faulty earth. Apparently a common problem.

Dealer fixed it very easily. May be you should explore this as a solution.

My wife's 05 Vanden Plas did this (luckliy when still under warranty) - the dealer said the ballast was bad and they replaced the entire unit!

This was a couple years ago - haven't had a problem since.

Due to the bad ballast the current going inside the headlight varies timely and so it may be happens that bulb do not get the exact power for blink on and it goes off. so change the Ballast.it works finely

I ended up going back to the dealer and he replaced the whole unit free of charge... Saved me about 2k with labor. The problem ended up being the modulator, I guess it just went bad

Thanks guys for your input on this matter, at least when you hit the dealer you know a little about what your saying so the mechanic doesn't feel like he can just roll over you with some ridiculous story and rape your pockets. I appreciate this forum to the utmost! Thanks again
