Default Anyone's XKR: Bloomingdale, IL?

I was driving through Fairfield Way and spotted a black 2010-2011 XK/XKR Convertible just parked off of Milford (accross from the library).....when I drove by first time the top was off....drove by 15 min later the top was up. Just seeing if it's anyone on the forum. Looking good! You probably wouldn't have notice as I was in the E350 as it's getting cloudy again here so the Jag is in the garage.

Just seeing if it's anyone here on the forum.....

Also...anyone know how to tell the difference between the XK and XKR for the 2010-11 front bumper? I couldn't tell if it was a XK or XKR when passing by looking only at the front end. It had the chrome front grills and the turbine like wheels.

Funny. When I saw the title of this thread, I thought I was going to find a picture of my XKR175, because I was at a nursery in Bloomingdale yesterday.

Sweet....good to see there are some XK/XKR owners in the area. Did you go to the one on Lake Street? Would have loved to have seen the XKR175!

I was actually spotted on the Mercedes forum last week at a Taco Bell of all places.....

Yep...Platt Hill Nursery on Lake Street. Great place. I saw three other XKs yesterday. They must be coming out of hibernation.

BTW, your beautiful beast is making me want to do some mods, but I'm not sure where to start. But the 175 is pretty sweet right out of the box.

Good place.....we usually buy our Xmas tree and wreath there.

For starters....I'd say go with catback exhaust (not sure if they tuned the exhaust on the XKR175 than the standard XKR) and lowering springs if you like alittle lower stance. Also...down the road do the upper SC pulley and a tune. What's good is we have Eurotoys around if you need any parts or install. You have the 5.0L so I'm sure it's plenty fast already.

Saw the Vert again today! It was parked in the office building off of Fairfield just south of Lake Street (behind the Walgreens)......LOL.

It looks like an xkr as it had quad exhaust and red calipers.....whoever's car it is....Looking good!
