I was trying to get more info on the best mods for my 08 XKR which led me to Eatons webiste:
Eaton Advances Supercharger Technologies: Saving Fuel and Reducing Emissions

Where I came across this statement: "Eaton’s TVS supercharger design was first introduced in 2008 on the Audi A6, Corvette ZR1, Cadillac CTS-V, Jaguar XJ XK XF and Range Rover vehicles"

Does anyone know for sure which 2006 and on XKRs have the Eaton M112 and which got the Eaton TVS?

Am afraid this is info not correct (at least Jaguar hasn’t used these on production engines). I was also under the impression that the TVS unit was used earlier on the 4.2, as jaguar upped the power from 400 to 420 bhp. Jaguar even displayed a TVS unit in their brochure for 4.2 engines, so I was very convinced. But the extra power is mainly due to the VVT and I have seen at least 1 supercharger unit that was clearly the old 5th gen.

I am slipping behind the info curve...didn't know that Audi, Corvettes, and Cadillac had gone to superchargers.

The Eaton TVS supercharger was introduced on the 5.0ltr engine. Are you in the Boston area?? If so send me contact info I can show you your options.

Not sure what your, could be 2007 or 2008.

This picture doesn't show the TVS lobes (can't find the brochure I had where I thought it where lobes from a TVS), it looks more like twin-screw lobes...

2010-2011 s/c Jags = 510 hp @ 460 lb./ft. trq. My modded 03 4.2 S-Type R puts down 460+ hp @ 500 lb/ft trq, @ 6200 RPM est. 0-60 = 4.6 sec, 1/4 = 12.7 sec. Keep up ther great work XKR's and happy holidays.
