Searched the forum, did not find much about run flat tires. Apologies if I missed it somewhere.
I found a good deal on TireRack.com for Pirelli P ZERO NON-run flat for about $1,000 for the set. But, they are not run flats.
Not that I think I have to worry much about getting a flat, but I like the idea of the added stiffness for handling in a run-flat tire.
So, does anyone have a suggestion for what would be the best run-flat tire for sub $200 per tire - if there is such a thing? Otherwise, would these P ZERO's be a good option?
I think you should do an extended test drive in a car with extended mobility, aka “run flat” tires. My experience with them on my Mercedes is reduced handling and performance as well as a short lifespan.

My 2010 has the original Run-Flat tires on it. I do like how they feel. They still have a bit of tread life left, as the car only has about 40k miles on it. But, being almost 10 years old, they are dried out. Probably need replaced.
