Here's the good: This ad shows that JLR "Employee Pricing" is a flat 20% discount from MSRP across the board. You can use this information to your advantage when negotiating new car pricing from the dealer. Unfortunately, this is why a JLR vehicle will depreciate by at least 20% as soon as you drive it off the lot. It is also useful when negotiating used car price.

Having been a dealer for many years (now retired) I can tell you that a manufacturers employee price is substantially lower the a dealers price from the factory. In the U.S sales from the factory to manufacturers employees must be routed through a dealer who is then compensated directly by the factory a percentage of the net cost which is generally 2-3% of the selling price.
