Hi All,

Cleaning the XKR this weekend and noticed this blank panel just above the instrument panel. Probably has been hiding from my line of sight as it is blocked by steering wheel when in normal driving position. Surprised I just noticed it, but was wondering what it is for. Any ideas?

 

Connector access to dash cover? Pop that sucker off, see what lurks behind.

 

A screw lurks behind it. You'll notice that panel pretty quick if you try to pull the cluster.

 

I thought about mounting a little display for front bumper prox's there but learned where the nose is instead.

 

Pretty sure it's for gluing on aftermarket cooling and voltage gauges
