bluetooth for mobile

Welcome to the forum! As far as I am aware all XK's came fitted with Bluetooth as standard so it should just be a case of connecting your phone to that.
The early XK's had issues displaying phone book entries on Android phones but I have never had any issues connecting my iPhones which ranged from 3G's to my current 8 Plus.
A Bluetooth module from a later car will sort out the issues with the Android phones but you should still be able to link it and make calls.

On the Jaguar website there used to be a link to verify which mobile phones connect with which year XK. All you need to do is to put in the last 5 or six digits of your vehicle serial number. I don't know if it is still there. In order to get a better answer here is to list which 2018 mobile you have. I have a Galaxy Note 8 which connects perfectly with my 13 XKR vert. I did have trouble getting Iphone 4s and 6s to work with my earlier XKs. That is why i switch to Galaxies.
