2014 XK Convertible Hello, my driver's side outer brake light at the rear will not turn offf. When I start the car, it tells me to engage or disengage the electronic parking brake, yet I have never used this electronic parking break. Any idea where the fault is based on this descriptionn of events? My battery will thank you dearly for it.

 

@samspadey , please use the forum search feature with the search parameters EPB and XK. This topic comes up nearly every month, for many, many years.

 

Maybe USE the E-brake and it will operate properly? Your transmission lock-pawl will also thank you.
Try that first for a few days, then report back.
