My Jaguar XK showed the Faulty brake light a few days ago, I'm pretty savvy with the interior trim and lights so I replaced it myself, with an original light bulb and it's working but the compiter is still showing "Brake Light Failure"
What can I do to erase it without having to go to the dealer?

Try another brand of bulb... This has been discussed in the past and these cars seem to be overly touchy about current draw...
The error will go away instantly when you find the right bulb.
