Default Brake Sound ?

my 2008 xkr with 8000 miles is making a brake dragging sound. the sound seems like it is cycling at a much slower rate tha the wheels are spinning maybe i'm wrong? sounds like the parking brake is rubbing - i originally just thought it was rust on the calipers cause i wash the car so much.

mark

btw it is getting louder and when the car warms up it goes away completely.

lots of the xk brakes squeak, afraid you're in good company. I was able to almost eliminate the noise by changing brake pads, but if I were you, i wouldn't do it until the first set is already toast...then go aftermarket brands. You could re-lube the caliper pins...just in case.
