Default British Classic Motorcar Show

We were fortunate to have taken second place in our class which included XK8/XK/XKR at British Invasion in Stowe, VT this past weekend. Rain showers most of the morning did not allow us to put the top down or show off the Celestial Black color but it still got a lot of attention. The first place car was a 2008 XKR coupe with number of Mina Gallery options (Shown in the picture on the far right) that was next to us.

Looks like a great turnout, especially for a rainy day. Both of my XKRs are represented in that lineup, my silver X150 coupe and my Carnival red X100 'vert. We have a similar show every April called the Queen's English Car Show where a number of forum members show up every year, and Jay Leno always shows up with something outrageous. This photo taken at the start of the show in 2015. Congratulations on your second place finish. For what it's worth, I like yours better from the photo, the other one has too many badges and doesn't look as svelte.

My car is the grey convertible at the Sydney Australia All British Day Sunday. A superb spring day with about 2000 British Cars.

Winter Gold is one of the best Jaguar colors. Too bad is not offered all the time on all the models.
