a/c temperature at vents
Now that the summer is here in Florida, I've started playing with the a/c to find out how it will be performing in the grueling heat ahead. Although I haven't experienced any very hot days yet, I've observed some of my lowest readings at the vent between 41-43 degrees. At a cabin setting of 63, I was getting around 45 degrees at the vents for a 50 mile highway drive yesterday which was a relatively mild day in the low 80s with low humidity. Again I haven't really checked it on a very long highway run constantly in the sun and humidity. Since our climate control is constantly factoring in heat, humidity and sunlight, as well as highway driving as well as stopping, the readings do change and fluctuate somewhat. I believe the service writer mentioned the XK being able to get in the high 30s at the vent at it's lowest setting. Of course too cold is not good either. Has anyone measured their lowest vent temperature?
