I'm stoked to be heading back to Calabogie this week for another lapping day. I was there in October, right after taking delivery of the car, and temps were fairly cool...as were they at Mosport this past May. This time it's going to be hot, and it will be interesting to see if the intercooler will be able to keep up with the sustained engines loads, and if the tires can take the heat as well.

If you've never tried high performance driving on a closed course you have yet to experience the full performance potential of an incredible car, and the satisfaction of developing your own driving skills. Consider it sometime!

You need to not be so far away! We just got a new track opened up down here: Ridge Motorsports Park. I've yet to go myself, but by all accounts many like it.

 

I just watched a video and it looks like a lot of fun. Enough elevation change to keep things exciting. Great layout for the Z I would think...or an F-Type! The XKR rewards its driver most on a higher speed track. Road Atlanta, Road America and Virginia International are calling out to me!
