Changed rims w winter tyres TPMS failure alert.
Hmmm
Bought orginal XKR 19" rims on Ebay, and after fitting them to the car, the TPMS failure sign came up..
So how do I know if the tires are fitted with TPMS... could be something else too..
NB, had the code reset, but alarm came up again after 10 min... Any ideas?
The rims are from a XKR 2010, facelift... mine is a 2009 4,2..

Did you buy "just" rims and put your own tires on or did they come with tires?
I bought original corvette wheels for my corvette only to find that the previous owner removed the sensors for his new rims.

Many tire shops carry a handheld device capable of scanning the TPM sensor inside the tire just by holding it next to the valve stem.... Should tell you if they are installed.
Set of 4 sensors should set you back about $150 plus the remount.

Thx for the reply guys..
I will check with the previous owner, they should be in place..
The OEM 19" rims are fitted with winter tyres. That is how they came...
Could also be a faulty receiver, just had the car detalied with undercarrage wash..
