Default Changing headlight bulbs. Easy?

I have one burnt out headlight bulb. I just bought my 2007 XK a few months ago and have only driven about 300 miles so far (and I hope is just a burnt out bulb, and not some bum electrical issue)

On my other cars changing a headlight bulb is easy.

One this one you have to take the headlight assembly out to change the bulb?!?
Is this easy enough to do myself? I'm not very mechanically inclined.

Yes, it will be just the bulb, and YES you can do it yourself - it is quite easy. Just follow the instructions in the owner's manual.

OK, thanks. The manual also say to please have a jaguar mechanic do it. So I wanted to find out if forum members agreed with that.

The manual says to have the HID headlamp bulbs changed by the dealer - but it gives specific instructions, with illustrations, on changing the other bulbs, precisely because it is within the capability of the owner to do this. The HID bulbs can also be changed by the owner - they are just slightly more fiddly. Advice: so you won't have to do this again, change all the bulbs in the unit at the same time.
