Chrome edge Trim at base of windows and around tonneau.

Does anyone know if it is possible to replace the chrome with black painted trim or even remove and wrap it?

Thanks from a new XKR owner in waiting on a countdown.

There was a similar discussion a couple weeks ago on the coupes. Work in place seemed to be the simplest way.
