Default Cold start sound

Hi,

today I have been aware of a new and strange sound the car makes at cold start at idle. In about 15 minutes driving it had gone.

I could make this 2 videos:

Cold start sound:

After 15 minutes driving around town (normal):

I’m going to do an inspection service soon but would like to know what do you think it could be, please

Thank you very much in advance

I do not hear any knocking , the second video sounds better . Could be belt or tensioner related , when was the last time you done a service ? These cars really need an oil change every 2 to 3000 miles if you can't do that then sell it buy a Volvo

Thanks Stuart. Should I ask for the chain tensioners to be replaced then?

No. Let the technician determine if that noise is normal or not, and what to do about it. I just presented you with a possible cause.

If you tell the technician to replace the tensioners and afterwards the noise is still there, you still have to pay him because he did what you asked.

Sounds like the sound of a service belt roller.
Replace roller, tensioner and belt.
If the oil level is good and the oil is changed before 10,000 km there is no danger in the engine.
Greetings

@Stuart S and @Alberto Pastor , yes that squeaking had me thinking there was a husquvarna sewing machine hiding in there and it was driving me crazy. So, I replaced the tensioners. Finally, she sounds as she should.
