Default Convertible parcel shelf

Hello, I’m looking for some advice as to which cleaning/restoration products are best to use on the parcel shelf on a 2010 XK convertible. I’ve tried a meguiars plastic cleaner and it has left white marks on it. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks

I assume you mean the tonneau cover.

I've had good results on stains like bird poop, tree droppings etc using Mr. Muscle type glass cleaner and a cloth, backed up by a nail brush for specific bits.

@Neil Saunders Welcome to the Forum! I see that you just joined. You'll find a lot of knowledgeable and helpful members here. But you need to help us to help you by creating a signature and completing your Public Profile, as detailed in this thread:

I suggest you search Amazon for an automotive cleaning product that won't damage the finish on your tonneau cover. I've been pleased using Griot's Garage Interior Cleaner, but I don't know if it's available in the UK.

@Neil Saunders welcome!

I'm actually working on my vinyl, plastics, etc., including the tonneau cover right now.

I've had very good experiences with Chemical Guys VRP Protectact, which is what I'm using again today.

Chemical Guys VRP Protectact

It takes away the white marks from dry spots, which my Cat had when I first bought it. The protectant seems to last longer than other related products which I've tried before. And it works really well on the rubber seals too.

The pics don't quite do it justice, but below are a couple of before/after pics. Cheers!

You're welcome. I hope it works well for you.

Also, obviously I meant to type "protectant" (stupid fat-fingers). 🙄😀
