My ‘08 XKR needs needs a new cooling fan as it's making a lot of noise. I can only find the entire assembly online for about $700. Does anyone know where I can buy just the motor? VDO makes many motor models that some sites say fit. Anyone know which model number? Thnx

 

I tried this route with success

Found used motor only at an UK Ebay vendor and I am happy with it for about 2 years already
However could not find a new one
The issue is that it has an embedded controller which is unique to our model

BTW if it is only making noise you could just try air blowing it
Mine was totally dead

 

are the fins striking something or is it an internal bearing that's failed?
