Thanks guys,
Found one on E Bay; wife said "get one for Fathers Day!"
What a sweetheart; she still drives her 2000 XK8 Conv. at 91....................not mph, yo.
We had a little Rally last week; drove around the neighborhood and along the Sound, me in my 2007 XK Coupe followed by her in the XK8. So I won.........because I left first and would not let her pass !!!
Anybody seen my thread laying around? I know I left it here somewhere
Oh well, it was about dead anyway. Just one final point, though, relative to TampaMark's remark about grounds.
While all or most metal parts of the body have some pathways to the battery negative, that doesn't mean they are equivalent paths. If current is low, and/or on for a short time, any path will do. But for a battery boost/jumpstart, I wouldn't trust just any "ground." Somewhere along the way where resistance is high there might be smoke. That's probably why Jaguar provided that special post, and specifically called it out as the place to connect the jump start battery negative.OTOH, maybe it was put there just some Jaguar designer who had nothing else to do one day...

Agreed on resistance and such, I would jump at the provided terminal for sure, a larger connection point than the small-ish bolt I reference.
My comment was in context with the subject matter and in reference to a trickle charge maintainer with a permanently mounted connector. For those that come on and miss previous posts about the optional connection point that doesn't require splitting your wire, or having to run it under the carpet into the spare well, etc. It is quicker and easier to use the existing bolt and nut that is present right under the same hatch that you access the remote positive terminal and the end result will be the same, a maintained/charged battery.
This pic shows the positive terminal behind the cover in the trunk. The rubber cap is in the way in the photo - the CTEK fly-lead connector is attached by removing the nut, placing the fly-lead connector and replacing the nut.
This shows where I made the ground connection.
This is all you see in the trunk after installation.
It's worked like this perfectly ever since I hooked up my CTEK this way. It takes 10 seconds before or after a drive to connect/disconnect. I figured this was a neater and simpler connection than using the ground post buried deeper in the trunk.
As a JCNA Concourse judge, how many X150 owners still have this bottle of Jaguar Leather Care? tt was standard equipment and I suspect that most owners probably threw it away after it was empty. It's strapped in the trunk near the remote battery + terminal cover.
lt's almost full, since I've been using Griot's leather care since I bought my XKR in 2010.

Indeed I do have a full bottle of Jaguar leather cleaner!
And back to the subject...no cover on any of the studs in the spare tire recess and they all appear to be painted to some degree.
What I did find is the alleged + jumper terminal under the left side access seems to be a NEGATIVE terminal as the heavy gage cable and rubber boot are black. This makes no sense per the drivers manual but after a quick look does look original to the car.
No red cover or cable are evident. Will have to pull the side trim to have a better look and a continuity check before I would use that point to jump the battery. 💥🤨

I checked the 4.2 electrical guide which shows the battery + side to + jump post is indeed a Black wire. As I recall the cable on the battery post its self is a Red cable which makes "color" sense so must have another connection point in the cable path.
Having owned a 2008 and 2012 XK and now owning a 2013 XKR; all of which were acquired new. The leather cleaner only came with the XK with light leather upholstery. It did not come with the XKs with dark leather upholstery.
