Does this dvd suits my 2009 4,2 navi system ?

It looks like a 2019-20 equivalent of my 2009-10 Europe DVD which is one of four DVD's in the Europe set from JLR.




Interesting as I understood JLR had terminated the mapping agreement with this supplier before then. If it is GENUINE, it should work.

I can’t find a damn piece of useful information on the denso.com site. On navigation.com, it doesn’t look good. Looking forward to the trial.

Wait....Wut? Is there a US map later than 2014 that will work?

 

Not from Jaguar, they kept making Europe versions but not US.
The later Volvo disks however, will work in your Jaguar.

It's been twelve days since @Nookat said the disk was shipped.
When's the update on this thread???

 

I didn't come across a used one, so I ordered it from a discount Volvo site. I'll report back, but others on the other thread say it makes the nav response slightly quicker.

 

I finally received the Volvo DVD's and can confirm they work fine. As others have stated the response does seem to be SLIGHTLY quicker. I wish I had known about these before I bought my "final update" DVD's.

Aah, Sorry folks, been very busy lately so I`m sorry not been able to comment for a while. The result is that it worked but I noticed the GPS window went off and on irregulary so I suspect my antenna is shortly in need to be replaced. I know the previous owner used a carwash machine on the car so I suspect the high pressure program has killed the antenna slowly😩. But the disc worked so its no reason to stay away from this one👍🏻😎

Maybe he’s using the new disc and can’t find his way home?

 

I use the map app on my cell phone. Way better.
