Don't get me started with China. In retrospect, Nixon must be rolling over in his grave. He went from "I am not a crook!" to empowering the biggest crook the world has ever known. And it couldn't have happened without our own corporate greed and losing sight of the forest for the trees. China destroyed many US manufacturing industries (steel, clothing, tech, pharmaceuticals, etc.) using the same approach. Low prices (below cost through government subsidies) drove competitors out of business, thereby allowing China to raise prices. The silver lining of COVID-19 is that the manufacture of critical pharmaceuticals is returning to the USA. China is not our friend and we are fools to rely on them for critical goods.

I will never buy another Jaguar unless it was built in Coventry by British craftsmen. No Chaguar for me!

That's not the title of this thread. It wasn't hijacked. Or are you referring to the first sticky? If so, isn't everything trivial compared to your health?
