Documenting the 2014 XKR-S GT
There is also at least one 2013 FRB RHD version although a google search reveals the possibility of perhaps more as they don't all have the same wheels fitted

Looking more closely at the CarFax, I believe this vehicle may have started it's life as a "Press Car". Which isn't necessarily too bad of a thing, as they get fully reconditioned prior to re-sale in the public market.
My opinion is that the current owner is looking for a quick sale, and as this car is already the lowest price GT I have ever seen it may just be able to be picked up for a great bargain price.

Scarcity does't equal investment quality in Jaguar land unless it's very old. When and at what value will they bottom out, given they stay well maintained with low mileage? When they reach $30,000 I'll pick one up for garage candy.
I assume you bought SAJWA4HA7EMB52535 which I saw last listed at $80,000 with ~10,000 miles on it.
Congrats on the purchase.

Well for the better part of the last two years or so there were as many as six Gt's for sale in the USA, languishing on the dealers lots. It now seems that they have all been sold all of a sudden! Has a wealthy collector gotten the XKR-S GT bug and snapped up all the surplus cars? I remember many years ago a guy in the southern US states bought every 1956 & 1957 Continental he could find, and when he died they had a huge auction of his car collection.
I'll keep an eye out, but if you had have been in the market a year ago they couldn't give them away.
P.S. I would recommend that you remove your telephone number from your posts.
