Default Downshifting in sport mode using paddles

I wanted to know if you guys experience an accoup, like huge tension when downshifting using paddles, like if you feel its tuff on the transmission. Sometimes i fell its not that good using these paddles in S mode, lot of tension.

As long as you try to maintain the revolutions between 2000-3000k on downshifts, you will be fine. Anything over and closer to redline, the ZF box starts screaming.

The computer is programmed to blip the throttle in the S mode anyway, without using the paddle shifters.

I wouldn't worry too much about it at any RPM. The ZF box is pretty tough!

I agree with others. The ZF transmission will rev match nicely, so the down shifts are smooth. ZF won't downshift even if you pull the paddle if the rpm's will be too high in the lower gear
