Drivers side headlight
I am a little confused about the headlights on my 2007 xkr.
I have read through a lot of posts and I am little more confused now than when I started.
The drivers side light is a lot dimmer than the passenger side.
Is there a lower and upper light ? I am not getting errors on the dash so I assume it's a bad lamp.
The manual says take it a Jaguar dealer. Should I try to remove the housing and replace the lamp on my own? I am semi handy with these type things but if it requires a lot of steps and removing things in the way to make it happen then it's better I don't try.
Any insight or Suggestions?
Thanks

You can do it yourself. The main lights are HID D1S (not impossible to find but more difficult than the D2S most others use). Get two of them and replace both at the same time. Your car came with 4300K color temperature lamps, they are available but are hard to find. 5000K or 6000K are much easier to find and put out a better looking light.
