EGR pipe melted through LAMBDA sensor cable
Had a short to ground on my bank 1 lambda sensors on my 2006 XKR. Blew F33 30 amp fuse for bank 1 sensors every time ignition was turned over, even with both pre and post cat sensors disconnected. After much tracing of the loom, found that the loom had melted through against the EGR pipe in the engine bay. Not seen much mention of this issue before, but where the loom is located it is literally next to the red hot EGR pipe, appears to be a design fault. Cable tied it further back and sorted the loom, fault fixed. In case anyone runs into this issue.
