exterior body kit from jaguar for 07-09

I called the dealer today and asked about this kit and they did not know anything about it. I would be interested in it since it includes the mesh grilles and aluminum louvers. I have an 07 XK Coupe. Does anybody know what is involved on putting the mesh grilles and louvers on yourself instead of having dealer do it. I also ordered my ipod audo connectivity module today. $400 just for the part!! They wanted $500 for labor. haha! I said no thanks. Ill just take the part. Here is the link to the exterior kit. Several articles if you google said this has been out a while.

welcome! so youre an aviation guy , and live in midtown area huh? very cool. My brother lives off paces ferry area near Lenox and PP.

The mesh grilles are very easy to install pretty much just a few bolts from what ive heard. one of our members Lew who also owns an XK lives near you, maybe he wouldnt mind helping you one day

As for the hood louvers im afraid that might include cutting into your hood, so you might want a body shop to do it?

What dealer did you talk to? Jaguar on Piedmont? Their prices are def pretty high. Someone whos trustworty to do the IPOD install from what ive seen and heard is a place called "Car Tunes" on Roswell road, a very reputable stereo shop.
