You nailed it Sin.

Most dont realize its not about engine survival- it can do that with coconut oil.

The real challenge is preserving the power you once had- which is tough even with oil designed for it.

Hardly anyone knows about Jaguar's patented oil actuated cam is incredibly susceptible to coke build up as a function of its design. I have posted the patent here before. If you study it, you will see the chain reaction it leads to.

p.s. those pics are not that bad

CPO gets me nothing with maintenance items. But as a part of the certification process the dealer updated all fluids, including brake fluid. It is on my pre-delivery checklist. So I have another year until a brake flush is due.

I disagree. This is barely broken-in car that was maintained well.

What would non-mild case look like to them? Something NSFW with BBC to add flare?

Can you believe society has become gullible enough that folks are buying these German cars for their engineering. LOL

Actually, I blame EPA and unreasonable fleet mileage requirements. There is no good reason to DI, it does not add up on cost-benefit analysis. The same goes for 10 speed automatics, all-aluminum chassis on non-race cars, start&stop and so on.

Or you could just try to cheat on tests like VW.

There have been many amazing articles written about how Audi took an unknown brand and went on a world domination conquest through hook or crook.
"
Mr. Hackenberg, a career Volkswagen engineer who worked on developing concepts for Audi models from 2002 to early 2007, is credited with developing VW's modular manufacturing.
In an interview last year, Mr. Hackenberg described presenting Mr. Piech in the 1990s with a model to build a new Audi, which would eventually become the A4.
Sometime later, Mr. Hackenberg said he got the idea to build a longer car on the same platform as the A4. He made the proposal to Mr. Piech, giving birth to the Audi A6. Later, when he was CEO of Volkswagen, Mr. Piech asked Mr. Hackenberg to build a VW Passat on the same platform.
Volkswagen now builds SUVs by VW, Audi, Porsche, Bentley and--soon--Lamborghini on the same platform. The models all sprang from Mr. Hackenberg's idea to shrink and then grow the Audi sedan. He returned to Audi in 2013"

but look at their current plans. This ironically is what the Fuhrer visioned!!
