I notice that both fog light lenses are broken. They are like a rock magnet. When I had the wheels off to do the brakes I replaced one light as the dealer only had one in stock. Is there any chance that this light is similar to a Lincoln part. I can't believe this light only fits the Jag XK. At $200.00 per light I would like to find another source and maybe buy a case of them.

 

There was a thread on some board somewhere that alluded to exact non Jaguar replacement covers (though may not be for XK) for a nickle on the jaguar dollar (sorry...in blunting the Jaguar pain with alcohol I cant seem to remember where). I have had the same problem on the XJ (they too are rock magnets) and I bought some heat formable plastic and simply put (formed) over the glass fog lights...no more problems. There are some manufacturers of a peel and stick products for rock light protection as well and although not as good as the thicker plastic I used it would be a lot easier to install and certainly better than nothing.

 

Hi Jag Boy's,Take your broken fog lamp down to your local Ford Dealer,parts man will take # of caseing and run it,it is the same as late Focus and about $125 in Canada,let us know how much USA,Have a nice Day A
