i'm in the process to change interior.to led's. i've seen a bulb change to light bard. does anyone have an opinion on whick looks best. thanks much. 2011 white xkr

My 2014 Porsche Cayman 981 has LED interior lighting. Porsche uses the "cool white" LED bulbs. I like the look of the "cool white".

Keep in mind that LED's can come either "cool white" or "warm white". The "warm white" has a yellowish look and appearence once the LED turns on.

The LED interior lighting looks awefully nice. I have not found any replacement LED "cool white" bulbs for my XKR. If I did, I might be tempted to change out the existing lighting.

Interior LED lighting is the wave of the future for automotive lighting applications. Most noticable are headlights and running lights.

 

thanks for the input. most.of the interior led's are 12v dc current. i have found a plave that has the led, but they.come with the conversion to.dc already in the light, so its one of those."cant screw it up" promise, anyone seen leds like that? thanks
