No spare in the base or xkr, imo I like the 20", the ride seems better and also I think you just can't beat the look.

Go with the 20" and just keepa can ofFix a Flat and your cell phone with you and you should be ok. also the 20" tires are standard "run-flats" with censors so, you have a safe 50 miles once you have a problem.

 

never use fix a flat! unless in an extreme emergency, it makes the tire un-repairable, meaning you're going to have to buy 2 new tires minimum instead of possibly having the flat patched

 

That is sound advice Bmw.............I heard that from 2 or 3 of my local tyre fitters........quite a costly exercise all round.
My daughter has that system on her Peugeot 206cc .......get nightmares about her getting a flat somewhere and having to rely on a can of " fix a flat"

Yes guys please do post plenty in the new 2007 + sub section. I / we hope if it takes off to get it truly upgraded to become a section in its own right.
I suppose you could say its a sorta test section as we are currently angling for more sections to be made available.

I just wanted to say hello. I'm a new member to the Jaguar Forum and I wanted to share some information about the cancellation of MP3 Player Audio Connectivity Kit for XK Vehicles. This notice was sent to all Jaguar dealers on the parts information bulletin board and it says that the cancellation is required because of technical difficulties encountered during the development of the product. The number of technical complications encountered during the development of the ACM product means that it will not be possible to lunch an ACM accessory installation Kit. I was very interested in the product for my 2008 XKR Portfolio. So in the near future this option isn't available.

I just joined the forum andwanted to introduce myself, my name is Mike and I'm from the Chicago suburbs. I bought an 08 XKR Portfolio Edition coupe last November. It spent the winter in the garage; so I'm just starting to enjoy and appreciate driving it.

Sorry for no pics........... tried to embed them in post; but my files are all too large. I'll post when I can 'capture' one of my sons for technology support.
