Default Guess what I found in the showroom of the local Jaguar dealer?

Dropped the car off for service and walked through the showroom on my way out. This was sitting there:

This car will be available in one year for $100,000 to $120,000, in 2 years you will be able to buy it for $90,000.....

Buy it ....drive it off the lot......lose $30,000 instantly.

Not a great deal at @ $174,895

But hey, it does look cool.

It's a pretty slick looking ride. And you never know when 550 horsepower will come in handy.

The dealer nearby had 2 of them last time I was there, got a good hands on look. They still have one listed, maybe you can get them to bid against each other!

For what it is worth, they also have this marked down to $122K and they are ready to move it for less.

Amazing that both of those dealerships are unable to distinguish an R-S GT from a normal R-S in their headlines. If the descriptions said "Jaguar XKR-S GT", more people might be interested.

Nice find! I want one but I'll wait.

There is a local 2013 XKR-S brand new that will move for 115K maybe better

A little too souped up for my taste. I like the white with yellow calipers though.

I also like the Polaris White. Many people don't. Also like the Silver or Gray's.

I know I will never own a Black car again. I have a 2013 Hyundai Sonata Limited 2.0 Turbo and it is very hard to keep clean.

I would highly consider the Polaris White on a future purchase.

I was in the Volvo/Jag dealers today picking up a v40T5 CC for my missus. This beauty was there. About $240K Australian, I think. It had a bigger rear spoiler than mine, and red growler caps on the wheels. red is my favourite colour in the XK, I just wanted to give it a big cuddle.

...and I thought the $1500/mo we paid in the early 2000s for our XJR was extravagant! At least, our XJR had adaptive cruise....

Too bad they haven't updated the nav/infotainment screen to something a little more modern. Still rocking the one that's the same as my 2010 XK and that was outdated in 2010.

It's not unusual to see big discounts on 2013 cars this time of year. I just helped a friend of mine buy a new 2013 911 Carrera S cab for $108k (msrp $126k). I also just helped a family member of mine buy a new 13 MB e 350 wagon for $55k (msrp $68k). This has become the best time to buy new cars

I'm just surprised there are two of them kicking around unsold in Florida. Maybe someone should ship 'em to Germany, where their talents might be more appreciated...
