H&R Wheel Spacers **Warning**

Just thought I would share my experience with ordering these wheel spacers for my XKR 175.

I've done wheel spacers before (factory spacers for a Cayenne Turbo) and loved the results....appearance was dramatically improved and the overall appearance took on more of an aggressive look.

I noticed that the XKR could also potentially benefit with a small spacer. Researched and found that the H&R wheel spacer (part 3035634) is the recommended direct bolt on to a 2011 XKR. When opening the box, I found the instructions have a warning that there is a chance that the stock stud could potentially be longer than the spacer itself and if so, you would need to make sure that the stock stud doesn't protrude too far into the wheel indention and touch the wheel...if it does, they recommend to have the stock stud cut slightly.

Well, after test fitting, it seems that the stock stud just barely touches the wheel so you can't get a flush mount of the spacer; therefore, the only alternative would be to slightly cut down the stock stud. This is something I don't want to take on so it appears I'll be sending the spacers back. Just wanted to warn anyone in case you think of doing this upgrade. Shame because they look to be very high quality 15mm spacer. Oh well.

You could remove the material from the wheel where the studs touch. Or with 20mm you probably won't have this problem.

I have no experience but you could try the H&R 4035633, they are the same but 20mm. Its just strange how they list them for different Jags, Volvos, Fords.

Why is the XKR and XFR not listed for the 20mm?
