Hard closing convertible top
 

I have a 2007 XK convertible that literally slams shut. The fluid level is full. I did notice a bit of a whining noise when the tonneau is engaged. Otherwise, I have not identified anything unusual. I am concerned that if I continue to use the top I may damage the latches.
