Default Help Needed - RESOLVED

Hi Folks,

I was cleaning the interior of my 2008 xk. I was using a small brush to clean out the indentations of the start button. I was basically brushing it quickly and it started to flash and then stay on. I finished my cleaning and then noticed that the park lights were on.

Bottom line…I cannot start the vehicle. The lights turned off but if I press the start button the lights come back on but nothing else. When this occurs I cannot access the trunk or other but when the lights turn off I can open the trunk, gas door, etc. Still nothing else.

What do I need to do to be able to start the vehicle?

Thanks

WJ

A charged battery.
You took too long with doors open and all the modules drained the battery.
Charge it GOOD with a 10+ amp charger for at least overnight. 24 hours even better.
