Default How to remove driver airbag

I've got the special tool, but can someone give me specific instructions? I've inserted the tool into the slot - goes straight in about 3 inches, feels sort of like it's landing where it should - there's very little room for it to move into a different location or position. But I've tried pushing, twisting, and levering both up and down, and can't get the tab to pop loose. Pointers, anyone? Thanks in advance!

Most important is to first disconnect the battery and allow time to deplete the charge in the backup capacitor.

The Jaguar Workshop Manual isn't exactly helpful on the use of the special tool!

From the shape of the tool and the second diagram on the second page, it must be inserted and then rotated to release the securing the clips.
