Default Hub Puller 205-491

I would like to get access to a 205-491 hub puller kit (without having to pay through the nose for a new one). Can anyone help?

Most Auto Stores will rent you one for no charge, but you'll have to put a deposit of the entire retail price when you take it. You'll get a full refund when you bring it back.

That tool is about $225 from Bosch Service Solutions (Jaguar tools) and seems to be available. On the other hand members of the Jaguar Clubs of North America (JCNA) may borrow that tool through the tool loan program.

You should look in the catalog "current".

Thanks.

To complete the kit you also need the Forcing Screw ($73) and the Adaptor Nuts ($96) - it is just a large investment for a single use.

Anyway, I had a look through the "Current" catalog and saw all 3 parts of Puller kit, so thank you. I'll investigate getting a loan.

Yes many tools are modular was just keeping the answer simple. The WSM spells out the parts required.

Hey,

I realize this thread is very old, but did you ever figure out where to rent one?
I'm in the same **** situation. Need it for once and don't really want to buy one for a single use.
