I installed new trunk blade and larger spoiler...
I had a trunk blade painted the same color as my car, as well as a Jag OEM larger spoiler. Just put them on...
The dark trunk blade allows the eye to see the entire rear end...

Speaking of blacking out, how did you get your chrome strip black? I Plastidipped mine to see how it would look. I did not clearcoat as I kind of liked the matte look to add some sinister to the posh luxury beast!
What did you do?
What did you do?
So now I am torn on the Leaper emblem. I have a new chrome leaper to put on...
I won't be blacking out everything on the car. I have finally found a shop that can paint the Nevis wheels like the design I created. I will be getting them done next week. I'll attach a picture of the design I photoshopped a while back...

The 175 spoiler looks good. I prefer it over the XKR-R spoiler.
Yes, put the leaper back. If you're not going to go with everything blacked out, leave the leaper chrome. I put a chrome leaper on the back of my XKR 175 and will be leaving it chrome. I'm undecided about the chrome piece below the trunk. I'm not going to mess with by 175 wheels. I like them the way they are.

Of all these X150 yours has the most potential to become a valuable classic collector's I wouldn't change anything and only replace parts with OEM
Just my .02
Do you feel a difference with the larger spoiler?
Haven't driven it alot yet...right now the rear wheels are at the shop being painted.
Once I get the wheels done I will get it out on the interstate and open it up a bit.

My thoughts as well. That's where my avatar came from, a growler at the front and...you see where this is going...
Rodney,
I think leaving the original XK and R emblems and chrome Leaper will look great with your custom painted wheels. However, the lock cylinder on the rear stands out like a sore thumb. I think the rear end would look better if you blacked out that lock cylinder so it would be less noticeable. Ultimate Black, of course.
Here's a rear end that needs no improvement!

Rodney,
Just because you're on a diet doesn't mean that you can't look at the menu!
Seriously, I was browsing around and just saw these new F-Type wheels and thought you might want to do something similar with your Nevis wheels. Instead of painting the contrast, what do you think about this carbon fiber accent look?

You could use carbon-fiber look self-adhesive vinyl wrap and probably do it yourself. Much less expensive than paint and if you don't like it you can easily remove it without damaging your wheel (I think). Just food for thought.

Yes I have seen those F Type wheels (with the carbon fiber) up close. They are ok.
My rear wheels are actually being painted now...in fact they should be ready today. I will then bring the front wheels to be painted.
The color of the wheel could be reversed if desired simply by powder-coating them all silver again. But I don't anticipate ever wanting/needing to do that.
