Default I'm jealous (for the neighbor)

Yesterday my neighbor comes driving up in a "brand new" red 2013 XKR convert. Just bought it out of Mississippi (IIRC) with only 187 miles on it. Wow. Still wish they made this car. Beautiful. Oh, he was driving but it was his "wife's" car

I'd be very concerned about a 2013 XKR convertible with only 187 miles. Where was it for the last 5 years? Service records? Flood damage? Paint and body repairs? Even if it has a clean CarFax and clean title (not a salvage title), I'd still get it inspected by a Jaguar dealer and a body shop approved by Jaguar to do aluminum repairs. If it seems too good to be true ...

Buyer beware.

I could start leaking with so little miles, but I hope not for them.

Possibly a strategic move to keep insatiable wife away from neighbor with Jaguar?

Allz we know is that you are the 'jealous' type.
And she is the hot red convertible driving type.

Now you will have 2 Jaguar payments if you try something funny.

Probably spent the past couple years sitting in a dealers showroom corner depreciating faster than they were making payments on.

I'm curious if you have experience with the XKR vs your XFR-S?

The XFR-S looks like it would be an absolute riot to own.

I have seen some cars that have been for sale for two years, from when I originally bought my X150. They just won't move the price far enough into the sellable range. Meanwhile its probably picking up crap from the elements and might not even look like the pictures anymore.

Actually I bought my new 13 XKR vert from a dealer with 65 miles on it in February of 16. It now has 19k miles on it and going strong. By the way I bought it for about 43% below the sticker price. It has been running well ever since I got my hands on it.
