IPod upgrade results in playlists no longer available

The radio/iPod cable connect on my 2011 XK worked perfectly with an old gen iPod as well as my 4S. iTunes and the OS upgraded and now they will play whatever song is next, but the screen will not let me select playlists or navigate the iPod. All other buttons work. I've reset everything with no luck.

On the device or on the Nav screen? I don't see anything on the Nav screen for my iPhone playlist. Kind of lame.

I have the most recent IOS on my 3gs (which is what I regularly leave in the Jag), but it also works with my 4s and wifes Nano as well. I can still do all the navigating... Mine is a `10.

Not sure if that's any help but...
