The two cars are very different in so many ways; I wouldn't even know where to begin comparing them. I also had the V6 F-Type so this is a whole other beast compared to what I was used to with the F-Type. Of all cars I've owned, the power delivery reminds me the most of my W204 C63 AMG.
The suspension, even at lowered state right now, is the most compliant suspension I've ever owned in that it's supremely comfortable. The steering of the F-Type and the XKR-S is similar even though one is hydraulic and the other electric. The off-center input of the F-Type was incredibly fast, while the XKR-S feels a bit lazier in that sense, but the wheel is incredibly light to turn especially now with the forged wheels where you can feel the difference in unsprung weight.
You can also tell that the XKR-S is a longer car; you can feel it when turning into corners.
The exhaust is far too quiet for my liking. At some point, I'll definitely open up the system because right now, it's too muted. I believe the F-Type V8 is louder stock.
In terms of infotainment, I never really use it outside of the fairly good sound system. I used Spotify through the Bovee 1000 and control it through my apple watch, so not much is going on in terms of my interaction with the very dated touchscreen.

Rears on the front look best with a 3-5mm spacer. No spacer and they still look and fit very well. Don't go oversize with the tires though, the recommended rears are about max on the front.
Foam is provided courtesy of an IK Foamer to provide additional lubricity while washing and super portable which I really like as well.
Next up was hitting some panels with Cquartz UK. And yes, the wing has PPF on it, and yes, I've ceramic-coated the PPF. Overkill? Yes. Am I okay, with that? Also yes.
I’ve decided to part ways with my baby. Work is all consuming these days, and I really never get an actual chance to drive the car.
It’s been collecting dust in the garage on a battery tender for the past few months so I’ve decided to list it on Bring a Trailer. The listing goes live in about 2 hours, so if you know of anyone looking for an absolutely amazing example of an XKR-S, let them know.
This is my third Jag I’ve been on the forums with, so it’s not a goodbye, but a see you later.
I was recently visiting some family in Southern California and stopped to see my XKR-S on sale sitting pretty in the showroom at Jaguar of Ventura. It's up for grabs in case anyone's looking for one hell of a ride.
