Default Jaguar xk 150 2008 4.2 cc convertible

Hi i have a problem with the display on my jaguar xk 4.2 convertible the display only gives the flashing jaguar emblem no other information i have a 2006 xk i have swopped all the modules attatched to the cd unit in the boot but no difference in the 2008 but yhe 2006ball still works being swopped over any ideas where to look nxt and what module is faulty many thanks

The first thing to check whenever you have any electrical gremlins is your battery. Let it sit overnight and in the morning, before you start the engine, use a digital voltmeter to measure the voltage. It should be at least 12.6 Volts.Whenever you have any kind of electrical problem, the first thing to do is to make sure that your battery is healthy and fully charged.
