Default Just bought brake pads a month ago and they squeak

after about the first 5-7 minutes if driving. prior to that no squeak. i wonder if it has something the do with the pads or rotors being warm. anyway is there a quick fix to this?

Did you put a coating of anti-seize or copper grease on the back of each pad and all other points of metal to metal contact?

This has always produced good results for me. In one case, I was able to cure noisy brakes some time "after" the initial pad replacement. Do not apply any silcone products to pre shimmed pads such as those used on our XKs.
