My 08 XKR appears to have a "lazy eye". I hate driving it at night, the beams appear to be crossed. I tried adjusting it, but it made little to no difference. It is obvious that one head light will not point father down the road. Passenger seems ok, driver side appears to be shining down and in.
Any advice? I really don't want to take it to a dealer to align the headlamps.
Also, the car hasn't been in an accident.

Mine does the same thing. I just bought it in Virginia and drove it back to Texas. The drive at night was not fun. There were times I felt like I could barely see anything.

I had the same thing happen on my 2010 XKR. Looked like a crosseyed lion and the lights pointed straight to the ground. I couldn't drive it at night. First, I had my local indie reprogram and that worked for one day. But it turns out that one of the headlights' (adaptive headlights) motor was faulty and prevented it from straightening out. I bought a used headlight replacement from another forum member, installed, and it's been fine for over a year.

Mine started doing that after a detailer had removed/replaced the headlights to fix some chips on the nose.
The dealer initially said it needed a new sensor (about $700) but then he found that it was just the connection to the sensor that had gotten dirty/loose.
