Default leaper on the rear lid

have 2011 xk convt. has anyone put a leaper on the lid? The lid is curved. I was thinking of a plastic stick on or maybe leaving it alone. Any suggestions would be helpful.

Have a 2009 Jaguar XKR Convertible and placed the Jaguar leaper on the back, same as the 2012 and 2013.

Here's a photo of my XKR rear end.

Cost was about $32.00 OEM emblem and easy to apply.

Versatile,
Did you try the chrome hood vents? I wonder how they look on darker cars, to match the fender side vents.

Just make sure you order the correct size.

The OEM leaper that you see mounted on the rear end is 6 5/16ths long. You will find others that are OEM but called a "mini leaper". You don't want that on the trunk.

Bought mine on eBay for $35.00 free shipping.

Adds a real nice authentic look to any Jaguar. Everyone likes the cat on the back. I get lots of compliments on the leaper badge.

I would love chrome hood vents but I'm guessing that since I don't have an "R" that they would be stick on and look a little tacky, no?

Default Jaguar Leaper for Trunk?

I'd like to get one of these for my trunk but the eBay seller is out and the dealer is high priced. Anyone else have a good source?

Just go on e bay and you can find a dealer. They seem to be in the UK so it takes awhile for delivery here but you can get one.

Yup...a couple of us has done it a few years ago: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...-07-xkr-53724/

You can also do the R Badge in the front grill: https://www.jaguarforums.com/forum/x...r-badge-53745/

Thanks for pointing it out. I ordered one from eBay and I think I will try and see if I can screw it on along with the sticker.

This is the same badge as seen on the 2012 and 2013 model XK or XKR.

First come first sent......$38.00 + $2.00 to mail.

Still available if anyone wants to up class their Jaguar XK or XKR prior to the 2012-2013 model year.

The addition of Jaguar "leaper badge" adds a very nice modern look to the car.

You can see the leaper badge on the back of my 2009 in the photos below. Link to photos in my signature.

Have two leaper badges available @ $38.00 each + $2.00 to ship. Enhances the rear end of the Jaguar XKR. OEM size, chrome, and no drilling required.
